She is Recognized for Work as a Litigator and Pro Bono Service to Immigrant Asylum Seekers

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Congratulations to Best Best & Krieger LLP Partner Shannon Brubaker, who was named to the San Diego Daily Transcript’s annual list of the Top 40 Under 40. Brubaker was recognized for her professional successes as a litigator, handling real property, title insurance, business and commercial matters for clients that include Fidelity National Title Insurance Co., JPMorgan Chase & Co., First American Title Insurance Co. and Bank of America N.A.

Her pro bono work providing legal aid to victims of human and civil rights abuses was also cited by the publication. Brubaker has assisted refugees from Eritrea and Ethiopia in obtaining asylum.

In an interview, Brubaker told the Daily Transcript that she credits her success with the refugees to a law firm that allows her flexibility to take on those cases. She advises young attorneys to find a mentor and build a strong support network of friends to help guide them through their careers.
