Firm Also Included on Top 50 Firms for Minority Equity Partners List

Best Best & Krieger LLP continues to move higher on Law360’s list of the Top 100 Firms for Minority Attorneys. In rankings released today, BB&K was No. 35 — jumping from the 44th spot in 2015. In addition, BB&K was also included in the national publication’s list of the Top 50 Firms for Minority Equity Partners, coming in at No. 12 with nearly 20 percent of the firm’s equity partners identified as minority.

This is the second year Law360 has ranked the 100 top U.S. law firms for minorities, based on minority representation at the partner and non-partner levels, and total number of minority attorneys. According to the editors, the firms included on the list “have made some headway in shaking up a stubbornly bleak picture of diversity in the legal industry.”

“Even though minorities have comprised at least 20 percent of each graduating law school class since 2002, according to the American Bar Association, these firms remain the exception, not the rule,” Law360 reported.
