Press Releases

A founding member and past president, MacVey is hailed for his dedication and leadership.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The Federal Bar Association, Inland Empire Chapter recognized Best Best & Krieger LLP Partner Kendall H. MacVey for his service at its annual dinner on Feb. 25 at the Mission Inn. A resolution passed by the Chapter’s Board of Directors indicated that MacVey “has provided principled and effective leadership and guidance” to the Chapter as a member and director from 1997 through 2014. The Board noted he was a founding member and served as the Chapter president from 1999-2000. The Board said MacVey “has always been committed to furthering the interests” of the Chapter and those it serves, working “tirelessly to advance those interests.”

In addition, BB&K was recognized for providing support to the Chapter.

The resolution was presented to MacVey by the Hon. Virginia Phillips, who will become chief judge for the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in July and is a former partner at BB&K.

MacVey handles complex, high-stakes litigation for public agency clients. In 2013, he was named by the Daily Journal as one of the Top 20 Municipal Lawyers in California and honored for garnering one of the Top 20 Defense Results in the state for successfully defending the San Bernardino Associated Governments and other agencies in a lawsuit brought by San Bernardino County that sought reimbursement for a corrupt $102 million settlement the County paid to a developer.
