Three New Attorneys Join BB&K's Indian Wells Office

Joseph Hahn, Brian Whitley & Vincent Whittaker

INDIAN WELLS, CALIF. - Three new attorneys have joined Best Best & Krieger LLP's (BB&K) Indian Wells office. They are Joseph T. Hahn, Brian E. Whitley and Vincent R. Whittaker.   

"Our Desert business is thriving," says Michael J. Andelson, managing partner of BB&K's Indian Wells office. "Our office recently updated its business plan and is aggressively positioning itself to meet the needs of our clients and the marketplace. The added services that are available through our new attorneys will greatly enhance our ability to continue delivering quality legal representation in a wide range of business and estate planning areas." 

Joseph Hahn is of counsel in BB&K's estate planning, probate and trust administration practice group. He will leverage significant experience with complex trust litigation to provide assistance in all aspects of estate and gift tax planning, including living trusts, family limited partnerships, charitable trusts, irrevocable trusts, community property agreements, and domestic partnership agreements. Hahn received his law degree in 1997 from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, where he served as Symposium Editor of the California Law Review. He has served as a judge pro tem in the Los Angeles Superior Court and has held leadership roles in the California State Bar and American Bar Associations.

Brian Whitley is of counsel in the firm's business and real estate practice groups. He has represented both local and national banks, and borrowers, in various loan transactions including construction loans, acquisition and development loans, term loans, and lines of credit. Whitley represents nonprofit corporations and other businesses in tax-exempt financing transactions. He also represents clients in a variety of other business and real estate matters, including business formations, real estate purchase and sale contracts, and lease agreements. Whitley received his law degree from the University of Southern California Law School in 1991.

Vincent Whittaker is an associate in the firm's litigation, business and real estate practice groups. He represents clients in complex business litigation, including real estate, contracts, business torts, products liability, and labor and employment law. Whittaker is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court and the United States District Court (Southern, Northern and Central Districts). He received his law degree, cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2000. While in law school, Whittaker served as the Perspectives and Book Review Editor for the Thomas Jefferson Law Review.
