Two BB&K Attorneys Named So Cal Super Lawyers - Rising Stars

Joseph T. Hahn and Christopher M. Pisano Recognized

The California law firm of Best Best & Krieger LLP (BB&K) announces that two of its attorneys have been named to the Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars 2007 list.  The honored attorneys are Joseph T. Hahn for estate planning and probate law and Christopher M. Pisano for general litigation.

Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars are among the top 2.5 percent of Southern California attorneys (excluding San Diego County).  They are chosen by their peers as being “among the top up-and-coming lawyers, 40 years old or younger or in practice 10 years or less” according to Super Lawyerspublisher William C. White.  Attorneys eligible for this honor practice in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, Kern, Santa Barbara, Imperial or San Luis Obispo County.

Hahn is of counsel in BB&K’s estate planning, probate and trust administration practice group.  Prior to joining BB&K, he practiced for nearly ten years with Morrison & Foerster LLP in the Los Angeles and San Francisco offices.  Hahn advises clients on all aspects of estate and gift tax planning and trust administration.  He leverages significant experience with complex trust litigation to assist clients with living trusts, family limited partnerships, charitable trusts, irrevocable trusts, community property agreements and domestic partnership agreements.  Hahn has served as a temporary judge and has held leadership positions in both the American Bar Association and the California State Bar.

Pisano is of counsel in BB&K’s litigation, eminent domain and municipal law practice groups. He represents public agencies and private corporations in a variety of litigation matters, including property valuation, eminent domain, inverse condemnation, construction, employment, land use, and general business disputes.  Pisano has represented numerous cities and other public agencies in both California and federal courts.  He has represented private corporations in real estate disputes.  Pisano has also represented numerous private developers, contractors and public agencies in construction litigation.
