CALAFCO Staff Workshop 2012 | Murphys, Calaveras County, CA

BB&K attorney Clark Alsop led the roundtable discussions of legal issues at the 2012 CALAFCO Staff Workshop, which was held in the town of  Murphys in Calaveras County on April 25, 2012.

The California Association of LAFCos, or CALAFCO, was founded in 1971. CALAFCO serves as an organization dedicated to assisting member LAFCOs with educational and technical resources that otherwise would not be available. The Association provides statewide coordination of LAFCo activities, serves as a resource to the Legislature and other bodies, and offers a structure for sharing information among the various LAFCos and other governmental agencies.

Clark H. Alsop is a partner with the law firm of Best Best & Krieger LLP, in Ontario, California where he specializes in Municipal & Redevelopment Law. Mr. Alsop is the City Attorney for the City of Fontana.  He is General Counsel for the Apple Valley Fire Protection District, and the Local Agency Formation Commissions in the County of San Bernardino and the County of Orange.
