Michelle Young handles the litigation needs of public agencies and municipal clients as an associate in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Municipal Law practice group.
Prior to joining BB&K, Michelle was a litigation associate at Baker & Hostetler in New York, focusing on commercial litigation and intellectual property law matters.
Michelle received her undergraduate degree in sociology from Vanderbilt University and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She obtained her law degree from Fordham Law School, where she was an associate editor on Fordham's Moot Court Board and participated in the Samuelson-Glushko Intellectual Property and Information Law Clinic. In addition to her law school activities, Michelle worked as a tax accountant for a Big Four accounting firm.
Michelle is new to Southern California, having lived the past several years in New York City. She lives in Los Angeles where she enjoys hiking and riding her bike along the beach.
