Krysten Steele is a paralegal in the Municipal Law practice group of Best Best & Krieger LLP. Her work as a paralegal focuses on municipal law, public policy and ethics compliance and litigation. Krysten works closely with attorneys on matters involving the Town of Apple Valley, the cities of San Jacinto and Ontario, the March Joint Powers Authority and the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District. She prepares public documents, such as notices, resolutions, ordinances and agreements for professional services and the transfer and development of real property.

Krysten  works under the supervision of attorneys on matters that involve public agency clients  and compliance with the Political Reform Act  and related matters, including conflict of interest codes, disclosure statements, filing officer duties, mass mailing, gift issues and disclosure and disqualification requirements. Additionally, she assists with Ralph M. Brown Act compliance and the coordination of complex transactions involving financial securities. On the litigation side, Krysten performs simple and complex research involving title and escrow issues, as well as electronic and hard copy document review, and preparation for discovery requests and responses.

Prior to joining BB&K, Krysten was an escrow coordinator and  title analyst for First American Title. Krysten received her paralegal certificate from the University of California, Riverside.
