Lynn Sleeper is a paralegal in the Municipal Law practice group at Best Best & Krieger LLP. She has more than 30 years of experience working with public agencies, private companies and individuals.

For many years, Lynn’s work as a paralegal focused primarily on redevelopment, land use, housing, municipal law and real estate matters. She has worked with city and redevelopment agency clients throughout California, preparing and reviewing documents for development and redevelopment transactions. She currently assists attorneys who represent many of the firm's public agency clients to prepare and review documents relating to the wind-down of dissolved redevelopment agencies, including agreements, property management plans, recognized obligation payment schedules, notices, staff reports, resolutions and other public documents for cities, successor agencies, oversight boards and State Department of Finance review.

Under the supervision of attorneys, Lynn assists public agency and private sector clients with real estate and development transactions for both housing and non-housing projects, including coordination of complex real estate acquisition and financing closings and drafting of purchase and sale agreements, leases, closing instructions and other real estate documents. Lynn also conducts research and review of title issues, including change of title, current vesting, easements, lenders and property descriptions. Lynn’s work also includes working on issues which involve compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act , including review of environmental impact reports and drafting of negative declarations. In addition, her paralegal work includes work on the Political Reform Act compliance and related matters, including conflict of interest codes, disclosure statements, filing officer duties and disclosure and disqualification requirements.

Prior to joining BB&K, Lynn was a paralegal with the Sacramento firm of McDonough Holland & Allen for 26 years.
