Alison G. Martinez is an associate in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Environmental Law & Natural Resources practice group. Her practice areas include environmental, natural resources and land use law.
During law school, Alison was the managing editor of the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal and president of the Public Interest Law Foundation. Alison also served as a peer mentor for incoming law students and volunteered at the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Barristers Domestic Violence Project.
Alison’s background includes both hands-on and academic work related to planning. Besides earning her master’s degree in planning, she also worked for the planning departments of the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority and the City of West Hollywood, and for the planning and development consulting firm Hogle-Ireland, Inc. She is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
