Mr. Welles  practices in the area of trust and estate litigation representing clients from across the Nation in California-based matters.  Welles has extensive experience in: 

• Estate Litigation -  will contests

• Trust Litigation -  trust contests, breach of fiduciary duty, misappropriation of funds 

• Conservatorship Litigation - protecting elders and assisting family members 

• Elder Abuse Litigation - physical and financial elder abuse 

• Probate Administration - resolution of estates in the courts 

• Trust Administration - accountings; beneficiary claims, trustee duties and acts 

Welles represents beneficiaries, corporate fiduciaries, trustees, conservators, personal representatives, family members, and proposed conservatees. The emphasis is on cost-effective resolution and aggressive protection and vindication of rights.Welles is a member of the Riverside County C.A.R.E. Team, which is a state-funded multidisciplinary task force devoted to the prevention of elder abuse. Welles is a member of the Desert Estate Planning Council. Welles is a frequent speaker on legal issues, and has authored a chapter on California Trust and Estate Litigation for a legal treatise.
