George Reyes is a partner in Best Best & Krieger LLP's Business Services practice group where his practice includes general counsel work for privately owned businesses and non-profits, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, as well as trust, estate and succession planning. He is based in the firm's Riverside and San Diego offices.

He has provided general counsel and transactional legal representation to various types of businesses, from start-ups to well-established going concerns, in a broad cross-section of industries, such as steel, medical, hospital, printing and publishing, equipment rental, injection molding, medical device manufacturing, automotive, insurance, records storage, citrus processing, automobile dealership, plastics engineering, schools for the developmentally disabled, accounting, and legal. He has been named to “The Best Lawyers in America"® list for corporate law every year since 2006.

Mr. Reyes is currently chairman of the board for the Inland Empire Economic Partnership and a director of the Monday Morning Group, Children's Fund, Riverside Community Health Foundation, La Sierra University Foundation, California State University San Bernardino Foundation, and Board of Visitors for California Baptist University, along with Visiting Nurse Association of California, Riverside Community College Chancellor's Circle of Innovation, and Economic Development Council of the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce. In prior years, he has served as a member of the board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County and the Inland Empire, and as a director for Riverside Community Hospital and the UCR Foundation. Mr. Reyes is also a former member of the Inland Board of Trustees of Olive Crest Abused Children Foundation and the boards of Riverside Medical Foundation, Riverside Hospice, Inland Empire Open, Inc., Volunteer Center of Greater Riverside, Resource Center for Nonprofit Management, and the IE Advisory Board of City National Bank. He is a member of the Riverside County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Mr. Reyes is married to Mary Ann and they have two sons: Matthew, 29, and Kevin, 27.
