Robert J. Hanna

Robert J. Hanna represents lenders, developers, title insurance companies and insureds in litigation involving real estate and corporate and business disputes. He has represented clients in more than 75 trials and arbitration proceedings. Mr. Hanna is a partner in the Business Services practice group of Best Best & Krieger LLP’s San Diego office.

Mr. Hanna’s recent trials include:

• The successful defense of Wells Fargo Bank in a $140,000,000  claim relating to the construction of State Route 125 (In re: South Bay Expressway, L.P., et al., United States Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of California Case No. 10-04516-LA11)
• The successful defense of 400 lenders in an action to enforce a lien claim for $18,000,000  concerning the construction of a water treatment plant in Central California (Kaweah Construction Company v. Fox Hills Landowners Association, et al., Merced County Superior Court Case No. CU149690)

Mr. Hanna has also served on the adjunct faculty of the University of San Diego School of Law and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
