Piero Dallarda is a partner in the Litigation practice group in Best Best & Krieger LLP's Riverside office. Before joining Best Best & Krieger, Mr. Dallarda practiced in Washington D.C. and Columbus, Ohio as an associate in the Litigation Department of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur. Mr. Dallarda's practice is focused on natural resources, land use and toxics litigation. Mr. Dallarda has also developed an expertise in connection with the Government Torts Claims Act, governmental immunities and civil rights.
Mr. Dallarda has been involved in several environmental cases involving challenge under the National Environmental Policy Act, the Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation Recovery Act and inverse condemnation. He has worked for the City of Corona, the Riverside County Transportation Commission, the Western Municipal Water District, the City of Azusa, the City of Colton, the Riverside Unified School District, the Pomona Unified School District, the Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority and numerous other public agencies. Mr. Dallarda has also represented California Steel Industries, American Electric Power, Southern Ohio Coal Company, Broad Street Oil and Gas, British Petroleum, several agricultural interests in Northern California and other private entities.
Mr. Dallarda graduated from Georgetown University Law School in 1992 and from Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service in 1989, magna cum laude. Mr. Dallarda is also a lieutenant in the Argentine Navy reserves. Mr. Dallarda's native languages are Spanish and Italian, but he is also proficient in French. Mr. Dallarda has published articles regarding environmental litigation, land use and the use of alternative dispute resolution methods in environmental cases. Mr. Dallarda is also a member of the Washington D.C. and Ohio Bars.
