Craig P. Hayes is an associate in the Municipal Law practice group of Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Indian Wells office.

Craig received his law degree from Chapman University Fowler School of Law, graduating cum laude with an emphasis in environmental, land use and real estate law. While at Chapman, he served as senior articles editor of the Nexus Journal of Law and Policy. Craig also received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Civil Procedure, Select Topics in American Law and Local Government.

During his first summer as a law student, Craig interned with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office in Indio.

Prior to law school, Craig worked for seven years as a project engineer and project manager for Granite Construction Company. He helped manage and construct heavy civil infrastructure projects across Southern California.

Craig is a native of the state of Washington, but he has lived in the Coachella Valley for more than 10 years. In his free time, Craig enjoys golf, watching sports and relaxing with his family. He is licensed to practice law in the State of California.
