BB&K attorney Brent Hawkins was the luncheon speaker for a series of four post-redevelopment workshops to be held across the state this month.

The "Moving Forward" workshops, which began Oct. 9 in Carson, were also held in Ontario, Pleasanton and Citrus Heights. Hawkins gave an update on litigation challenging provisions of ABIX 26 and AB 1484. There were approximately 30 cases pending in Sacramento County Superior Court. Hawkins discussed the issues involved in the cases, and how their outcome could affect cities and successors agencies in the future.
