Lauri Arrowsmith

Lauri Arrowsmith is an education attorney focusing on helping school districts handle complex special education issues in a variety of settings, including IEP meetings, mediations and due process hearings. With more than 20 years of experience representing school districts, Lauri strives to assist her clients in resolving special education matters while taking into consideration the balance between the needs of the student and the needs of the school district.

Prior to joining Best Best & Krieger LLP, Lauri worked in the area of special education law for more than 13 years at an education law firm and as a partner in her own firm. Additionally, before coming to California, Lauri served as finance counsel for various municipalities in Pennsylvania.

Lauri grew up in Pennsylvania and relocated to California more than 15 years ago. She is married and lives in San Diego County with her husband, daughter and three dogs. She enjoys participating in church activities and serving as a swim official for USA Swimming swim meets.
