Since 1999, BB&K has served as special litigation counsel to the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) on air quality issues. Consequently, we have seen challenges from environmental groups claiming the SCAQMD has not gone far enough to control air pollution. Conversely, we have witnessed claims by industry groups asserting the SCAQMD has gone too far. Understanding the middle-ground is key to successful representation in litigation.
